Ah yeah, it’s classy-up time. Something you see on many of them fancy boats are outdoor wood. Doesn’t make much sense to me, dead wood degrades with water and there’s a whole lot of water – on water, which is why plastic makes more sense but what do I know. Some of the outdoor wood is plastic, of course, so let’s do that.

Scrubdown for that non filthy surface.

 
I will be dremmeling the edges later. Preparing things with a metal tape. 

Measuring is a pain in the butt. Takes forever.

In between each I had to file the edges for some initial smoothness. Won’t really matter that much since I will be going over it all with a Dremmel later anyways.

Had to stop because I dropped the scissors into the water. Probably the 6th beers fault. I’ll get back to this later when I have a scissor.
