Took forever but it was definitely worth it. 
What’s next is Dremmeling down the edges to a smooth- and even looking surface. 

This may take a while since part of it is unscrewing things under the platform. Have to get into the water to unscrew things, and even then they may fall in the water. Now that’ll ruin the day. 

Following that: extra traction-surface on the hatch. Thinking about painting in the logos as well.
