While defrosting our ac/dc fridge Becky stabbed its very pressurized evaporator with a fork.

The thing let out a cold fart, or idk a dying breath, and croaked right in front of our eyes. It took all the food with it.

Resealing it didn’t work. Maybe high pressure sealant would? I’m just not feeling it.
Ordered a new fridge. AC only. Cheaper. Bigger.

 

Out with the old…

Had to say goodbye to AC/DC (powered on thru power on shore, and by battery on the water).
To bad.

Bar had to go too.

Cut, a dremmel helped smooth things out.

Followed by a quick paintjob.

In with the new.

Not as wide as anticipated (or stated). Lots of space on the sides. Plus that was an awful paint job.
So…cue Macguyver. Let’s make things more proper. Off to Home Depot and improvise.
