Pi, part 1

Initially I planned using the Pi as a low-energy bridge for the antenna and home network, plus a NAS. Also to talk with the Nuimo. However we got more corded things (looking at you, Hue and TV), and that Spotify isn’t Pi friendly (and I’m temporary tired of temporary workarounds), I went with a regular router for that job (for now) and decided to do the simple thing – turn it into a NES emulator.

The TV is right on the bed, how could it not be a gaming system?

Setup is underway. Got an enclosure I’m attaching to the TV. Got some USB SNES gamepads. All good there.

In the future though I’ll see about also turning into a NAS. Where our outdoor cameras would record to, on top of having backups of work and whatnot.
